Load the course
Your own GPX file, or a course that is already there in the library: Ironman, 70.3, Challenge and the great mountain passes.

Say who you are
FTP, run threshold, swim CSS, weight, position on the bike. If you use Intervals.icu, it pulls them from there.

Watts segment by segment, expected time, and how much to drink and eat every hour given the weather on the day.

The finish time, and how you get there
Every leg has its own target: watts on the bike, pace on foot, pace in the water, plus the heart rate you should be seeing on your watch. Move the intensity and everything recalculates, transitions included.

Heart-rate pacer
Name a heart rate. The trainer handles the rest.
On easy days you don't want to watch the watts: you want to sit at 135 bpm and nothing else. Type the heart rate and the pacer takes command of the trainer — raising and lowering resistance on its own, second by second, to keep you there.
It is the same thing a coach does when they shout at you to ease off as your heart climbs, except here the trainer does it, and it does it before you notice.

- Starts gently and builds: the heart needs minutes, not seconds.

- Comes up to the target from below, measuring how you respond, instead of firing out watts and correcting afterwards.
- Hold
- Holds a band — 132–138, not a single number — and compensates for drift: if your heart rate climbs, the watts come down on their own.
- 30-second average and bpm/min trend always on screen

Why what you already use isn't enough
Best Bike Split makes the plan and then exports it. Zwift gets you pedalling but knows nothing about your race. PeakPacing does both in the same window.

What you need to get going
You can generate the plan either way. To ride it you need a trainer and a browser that speaks Bluetooth.
An FTMS trainer or treadmill
Any smart trainer that supports Bluetooth FTMS. The Zwift Click remote is supported too.
Chrome, Edge or Opera
On desktop and Android. Trainer control goes through Web Bluetooth. On iPhone you need the native iOS build.
A Google account
Or sign in with Strava. Nothing to install from a store: it is a Progressive Web App.
